Goddess Kali small quilt from Bizarre Quilter

Oh, this is my goddess Kali altar cloth set up.

It took me a lot of energy to hold space for the creation of this altar cloth, particularly as I made another one at the same time for someone else, and she wasn't energetically ready for hers yet.

I love creating sacred spaces of intention. Here I am, connection to the ancestors position.... high vibe, my key.

Hello Goddess Kali. The Destroyer.

Taking away the old path, so that we must take a new one.

One altar cloth, three ways from Bizarre Quilter

Playing with this witchy altar cloth.. Lots of ways to set it up to make it speak in different ways.

You can use more crystals to create more of a crystal grid.

Saturn Eye Pillow from Bizarre Quilter

This is a spectacular piece, I've just made another two. I think that's the last I have in this fabric. Maybe I can order it again in the future, we don't really know with overseas shipping still.

It takes a lot of energy to hold space or this sacred geometry while I stitch. This one has 7 colour changes, freemotion stitching and some with the walking foot.

In his own crafting, 5yo has made me a "Saturn" eye pillow. Hahahahhhaha.

It's bits of paper stapled together with fluffy stuffing inside.

Thanks little man, I love it ...

I do believe I said... from Bizarre Quilter

Did you hear me say there would be more time to stitch? Well, feast your eyes, I've had a busy few days.

I call this one Our Lady of Guadalope. I went to her shrine in Mexico and asked her to make me a mother. It worked. 13 months later, despite being in full menopause, I had met a man, become an instant mother and became pregnant. I have plans to create a large applique collage of Our Lady in bright colours. Not sure when yet.

This Sun piece is exceptional. I love it so much, it sold straight ...

Fortune Teller from Bizarre Quilter

I'm just so busy, I want to find more time to sew my altar cloths... looking for balance in home life, keeping the home clean, looking after myself and family, and now that it's school  holidays, and the 3 children are home, I am spending more time with them all than ever.

I did get this fortune telling lady made. I love it... Reminds me of one of those fairs in the olden days. I look forward to carving out some time to create more altar cloths soon!

I hope you are enjoying your Christmas preparations!

My altar ...

Halloween preparations from Bizarre Quilter

I really love this cat, looks like very old artwork, with little moths... a special antiquity, and the colour too.

This moth has me gasping... so blooming gorgoeus. Phases of the moon, moth, herbs, eyes, crystals. I have no more to say! I have stitched this one in pink.

This raven is in green, and painted with green sparkles.

I see Poison Ivy. What do you see?

Took my little fella out to a special cake shop today...

creating those memories that we loved as a kid! So special!!

Ooh  I saw this dress in a handmade shop. Too small ...

How I set up an altar cloth from Bizarre Quilter

Here you can see my intention grid set with crystals, and I have a range of Halloween kandles ready to burn, actually it's time to start.

I set an intention (goal), light the candles, have smudged the area, added whatever is meaningful for me at this particular time.

I set the painting behind... it's like my favourite poem: The Road Not Taken.

Everytime I take a photo the candles cast a different light.

This is how I set a sacred space.

Pretty darn happy with it all too.

Blessed Be.

So many things cooking from Bizarre Quilter

Sneak peek at my sewing machine... this is going to be stunning!!

I did get this fairyland pink sparkly altar cloth completed. Oh! I wish I ordered more of this fabric! It's 2020 and deliveries are on and off, stop and go, it's all in the air.

I discovered the kmart air fryer is AMAZING at cooking chicken sticks for the children (balance them in all directions, and the marinade doesn't stick to the base, but all the flavour stays in the chicken!!).

A witch with her familiar.

And a whole lot of rainbows piped from butter ...

Sneak Peeks from Bizarre Quilter

Ooh whee! School holidays are over and I get to sit in my new sewing space. I've never had such great light, and such a beautiful space to sew in! I guess, it was never such a big business venture before.

A witch on the way here....

A visit from my gorgeous friend Kate.

A bit more stitching on an Egyptian altar cloth - this is the lioness. Maat?

More to come!!

New directions from Bizarre Quilter

Oh Tinkerbell! How gorgeous is this! Connecting to the inner child, but also connecting to wanderlust: the personal growth that comes from travel and exploration and experience! I've painted her wings so twinkly. She came up great, but I only bought one of these fabrics. So its first in, best dressed.

If you're into coffee and cats, this one is for you. Some people are buying these textile art pieces to hang behind them while they run online zooms, or classes or workshops, to show what they are all about, and act as conversation starters. That makes total ...

I get shivers from Bizarre Quilter

Ooh! I get shivers from this magickal money cat! It's so much more sparkly and beautiful in real life! I wish you could see how good it looks.

This crystal bee is a deadset favourite. I bought 5 fabric prints, but I can see I need to order another 5 already.

I will need to keep one for myself.

What an interesting card draw!!

Saraswati, goddess of music, knowledge and teaching.

Ahhh, maybe this is the vampire witch. She is wearing a red cloak, and there are bats in the background. Maybe there are more than one vampire in ...

Magick from Bizarre Quilter

Ooh, so many colour changes, but I do love stitching people. Don't ask me to draw people with ease, or paint them, but I can stitch them with love and joy and ease!

Could there be an altar cloth that sums up divination and magick more than this one? Palm reading, allseeing eye, stars, reading bones, even a tooth, spirit animal, and plants. So magickal.

This one as Jesus, I love it. The contemplation of the heavens.

I think this one is a vampire witch. Maybe a zombie. Because that's a coffin behind her.  Is she creating zombies ...

Our own spirit animals from Bizarre Quilter

I found some gorgeous digital prints of Australian animals, and some packs of real Australian indigenous art fabrics.

I've added a border in the indigenous fabric, and now quilting details.

The fabric is so soft. I must look up the features of koala as a spirit animal. I decided to free hand stitch gum leaves into the border, ah, leaves are one of my favourite things to quilt.

More spirit animals: these wolves are so sparkly. Stitching and painting the fabric prints really transform these into something special.

Here is one of our own spirit animals. Ming Ming can ...

New Witch Series from Bizarre Quilter

My sewing time is going to be limited while we are packing as well as moving the non-household and yard items.

I am preparing a Halloween Witch series. This is the first one. Oh, she is sassy, and why shouldn't she be?

I am going to have fun stitching and painting these babies.

I only bought a couple of each fabric print, I hope I will be able to buy more, but not until after we move - I don't know what my address will be.

These ones are for me from Bizarre Quilter

Ok, Ok, these ones are for me. No doubt about it. If you can see yellow/gold fabric, I have painted it so it twinkles and sparkles!

Oh the POWER in these! I am calling on goddess to help us find a place to live!

This one with the lion has so much work in it. I have fabric for one more, and I won't even order the fabric again, there is so much involved. It took a very long time to stitch, with many colour changes.

I never can tellw hich ones are going to pop in real ...

Moths and cats from Bizarre Quilter

This one really shook my world. What is it about moths? They have big fluffy antennae that are sensitive to change and vibration and smell, and this faery is riding a moth, and together they are heading for the moon. So many symbols in one place!! I have a couple of these printed onto fabric. I might have to order more. This one really speaks.

Oh Frida! I remember being young and wondering who this woman was, that one could find on tshirts and whatnot, and now I don't wonder who she is, I wonder why I didn't ...

So much thank you. from Bizarre Quilter

Here's one I forgot to share yesterday, but you know what, it's all divine timing.

Do you remember I needed to find a house to move into? Or a house/land to buy with vendor finance?

Well we put it out to the Universe, and this block of land has turned up.

We went for our first look.

Discovered a water hole.

We buried some crystals near the water hole, and the land responded with such love.

Walking around (yes, I can walk, I've been taking those vitamins and it is changing my life), we felt a ...

Raising my vibration from Bizarre Quilter

Raising my vibration as high as I can, I am stitching very high vibe pieces. I've been applying for 40 rental houses a week, but with nobody moving out, and people moving to Queensland when they can, there aren't any available, or my rental history was too long ago (23 years!!)

This rainbow goddess is seriously stunning, I could stitch her all day long.

Oh this cat one speaks to me on so many levels!

First, I love Egypt, so this walk like an egyptian thing is doing it for me. And who here knows about the connection ...

The call of the Magpie from Bizarre Quilter

When I listed this at the facebook group: The Spiritual Co-Op Group online market, I dind't know it would sell within the first 7 minutes of listing!

It's one of those one of a kind pieces, I ordered one fabric and it just came to life after I stitched it.

It was bought by a dear soul who will use it to cast runes upon. She connects with magpie spirit animal.

I can even hear magpies singing in my head now as I type this.

Spirit animals are a very powerful concept.

I wish I could order more ...
